Duct tape for runners
Known for its durability, strength and versatility, duct tape is reliable in rugged conditions. Whether you are running cross country or around the block, duct tape can offer quick solutions for runners in sticky situations.
Here are some way you can use duct tape:
- Tape over shoelaces so they do not come untied while running.
- Place a strip of your favorite color of duct tape (the Duck brand duct tape, for example, has more than 200 different colors, designs and licenses to choose from) on your shirt so friends and family can spot you in the crowd at races.
- Tape the cords of walkmans or mp3 players so they don't get tangled up.
- Fasten down your runner number to keep it from catching the wind and adding resistance.
- Tape the sleeves of your T-shirt up.
- Tape over the Velcro on your mp3 player armband to make sure it is secure.
- Tape the sole of your shoe back together.
- Tape shut a broken battery compartment on an mp3 player or portable audio player.
- Tape your house or car key onto your water bottle or shoe.
- Tape energy (goo) packs inside shorts or pants.
