Where to run in Lethbridge (Alberta)
When in Lethbridge I would recommend running on the Coal Banks Trail. Named after the original coal mining town, the trail provides 30 kilometers of uninterrupted route from the west side to Pavan Park in the north, through the Oldman river valley and Henderson Park in the west. Built in 1984, this regional multipurpose recreational path links all of the city's major urban parks, all three geographical areas, and many smaller parks throughout Lethbridge. The Coal Banks trail is also used for running events, such as the "Terry Fox Run" and the "Moonlight Run".
