UNITED STATES OF AMERICA MINNESOTA — 2025-05-24 — Stillwater. "Stillwater Half Marathon". The Stillwater Half Marathon takes participants along the beautiful Gateway Trail for the first nine miles a fully-paved, converted railroad. On the outskirts of the Twin Cities metro area, the Gateway is flanked with wildlife taking runners through a canopy of trees on the way to historic Stillwater, Minnesota. The 10K route follows the last 6.2 miles of the Half Marathon course and the 5K course begins at Browns Creek Park in residential Stillwater. Three-quarter marathon and marathon then run one or two quarter marathon rounds (Old Town Rounds). The runners of the quarter-marathon start run at the Ostentor (eastern old town) back to the Infineon parking lot. Start marathon, three-quarter and half marathon at 08.30. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WASHINGTON — 2025-06-07 — Port Angeles. "North Olympic Discovery Marathon". The North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Marathon Walk, Marathon Relay and Half Marathon take place on a unique point to point course that incorporates the beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and a five mile finishing stretch along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The 10K, 5K and Kids Marathon are an out-and-back along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Frequent sightings of seals, eagles, and an array of shore birds are common from the trail. Iconic trestle bridges provide beautiful back drops. Salmon can be seen spawning at the Morse Creek crossing in the fall. The North Olympic Discovery Marathon is truly one of the most beautiful marathon venues anywhere. This rails to trails course is a wide, hard surface (99% paved) trail. The course is marked at every mile and water stations are located approximately every two miles. Cool June weather can be expected average high is 65F, average low is 49F, average mean is 57F. The race is organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association a group of accomplished amateur athletes. The Drop13 Big Cottonwood Canyon starts at Solitude Ski Resort and runs over 3000 feet down 13.1 miles to Cottonwood Heights City. This race is not only fast but it is beautiful with views of the Spring run off in a roaring river and all the trees and plants are in full green color. This race not only has all these features but it also gives racers 4" finisher medals. Those that PR their half marathon with us get a PR (Personal Record) medal and those that lose 13lbs in the training and running of this race will also get a Drop13lbs medal (Based on Honor System). We reluctantly use the term Drop13 because of what it represents. Drop13 represents a course that is extremely fast downhill. This course is 99% decline for 13.1 Miles. 2600 feet of decline with very little incline or even flat portions. This course is not just fast but beautiful. Aspens, Pines, rivers, throughout the route. This route starts at one of the highest elevations in Utah for races. Last year July 4 the starting point still had snow all around. This is a great course to get out of the heat and enjoy more of a Spring race in the heart of summer. www.onhillevents.com

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA OREGON — 2025-08-02 — Welches. "Huckleberry Run Festival". Half Marathon Route: At your own pace, you'll delight in sights such as a golf course, the Cascade Range, the Salmon River, bridges and natural wildlife where you might see deer! The Half Marathon route is the same as the 10k except it has an additional six-seven miles of running in the National Forest and crossing the Salmon River twice. This course is considered somewhat challenging with mixed rolling hills. 10K Route: At just the right speed, you'll go south on Salmon River Road and then take Fairway Avenue while breathing in the exhilarating Cascade Range. Continuing south on Welches Road, you'll enjoy the scenery of moss-filled trees and woodsy homes. Finally, you'll come to Salmon River Road to circle back to the start. 5K Route: This race will take you along some of the beautiful fairways and into the gorgeous neighborhoods of the The Resort at the Mtn.
