By Bob Birch - Pompano Airpark, Goodyear blimp base, and golf course, Atlantic Boulevard to Northeast or Southeast 18th Ave (Atlantic is the dividing line, so eastbound traffic will see "SE" while westbound traffic sees sign for "NE"). Turn North on 18th Avenue and follow it into the park. Distance: 4.5 mile asphalt path that goes around Pompano Airpark, Goodyear blimp base, and the golf course. Safety: it might be a little spooky in the dark, if alone. Parking: free. Do not leave valuables in plain sight though.
