Brookhaven
By lirunning.com - Southaven County Park is located between exits 57 and 58 on the north service road of Sunrise Highway. Countless miles of trails ranging from beach like sand, hard dirt, and my knees' personal favorite - the thick cushion of pine needles. The main trail from the north east corner of the parking lot heading north through the gate to the high power lines and back to the corner of the parking lot is a true 5k. Very quiet park for the exception of shotguns which turn out to be useful in navigating your way back after some twisty trails. I have ran 6.4 miles in a figure 8 with plenty of area to the north and west I'd say 10+ miles easy without getting on to the small foot trails. Submitted by Rob Stokes Jr.
