Near the 30th Avenue exit on Interstate 5, west of the highway, is Lane Community College. It is a good location for shorter runs and offers some nature trails behind the campus. The trails are best accessed near the northwest corner of the track or near the southeast corner of the rear parking lot. Also starting from the rear parking lot is a 1.25-mile long path that is marked every quarter mile. Lane Community College is home to the State Cross Country Championships each fall.
