By Rich Caramat - Philsports Arena in Pasig City, more popularly known by its former name "Ultra", is an indoor stadium located along Meralco Avenue and just a few minutes from Ortigas Center. It is where most of the Country's national athletes reside and train. Since it is government-owned, there is a small entrance fee required before the public is allowed to use the facilities, which includes a 500-meter rubberized oval track. This track is excellent for practicing your running drills and sprints and a delightful alternative for runners who are tired of running on asphalt.
