Centennial Park, in a beautiful setting, ten minutes from Sydney's Central Business District, is perfect for running and it has a distinctive and special place in Australian history and culture (it was traditionally home to the Gadi people). Dedicated in 1888 by Sir Henry Parkes as a public open space for the enjoyment of the people of New South Wales, today Centennial Park is a playground for adults and children of all ages. It features a two and a half kilometers paved track and numerous trails.
