Where to run in Seattle (Washington)

Green Lake - When you think of running in the Emerald City you go to Green Lake. The cemented path lines the edge of the lake which is in the middle of a large park where every type of sport is played.
Burke-Gilman trail - Seattle has many great places to run, but the Burke-Gilman trail offers a running trail that goes from the University of Washington all the way to the North end of the lake. The trail is quiet and relatively flat. If you want a five kilometer run or a 20 kilometer run you can work it out on the trail.
Warren G. Magnuson Park - A couple of miles from the University Village, on the right side along Sand Point Way, there is the small and quiet Warren G. Magnuson Park. Starting from the boat ramp, the main loop is approximately one mile of paved path, with grass on one side and Lake Washington on the other.
Myrtle Edwards Park - The Myrtle Edwards Park - a stretch of land between the Puget Sound and the railroad tracks, right next to Pier 70 - offers a winding running and biking path 1.25 mile long. Following the path, the park turns into Elliott Bay Park.
Arboretum Waterfront Trail - The Arboretum Waterfront Trail in Seattle connects the former Museum of History & Industry to the Arboretum visitors center. It is a unique 0.5 mile long trail that takes you across the largest wetland left in Seattle, on floating walkways, boardwalks, bridges, and through a variety of little-seen marsh environments.
Ravenna Park - If you are looking for either a nice wide dirt forest road, or some wooden narrow trails you can jog on both when visiting the Ravenna Park, a half mile wooded ravine which connects two picnic areas just north of the University District of Seattle.
